I tried a Fuji Zcom shaft a long time ago but this isn’t the same feeling. Even with a rusty swing, this club launches the ball extremely straight, and puts on a lot of hang time. It still appears occasionally but nowhere near as frequently as before. However, the Tour cover feels as though it has some strong cardboard inside it along with a magnetic strip that attaches to its mate on the other side of the cover after wrapping around the bottom portion of the shaft.

I dont know if its the smaller head,or if the stock shaft just seems to suit me but I have found a real gem.

I am lucky to get to with my cheapy RAM. Despite the super-shiny finish on the sole, and contrary to popular belief, the sole is not easily scratched. I hit his against the superquad Hibpre and the Hibore bombed it way past and was super easy to hit.

I agree with Bill — you have to find the right ball placement in your stance rour swing plane. Straightest and longest I have ever driven. Regarding the question about whether this driver might be suitable for a higher handicapper: Not sure what to do. The Gold has a lower kickpoint and an active tip section for increased launch angle, higher ball speed, and a smooth feel.
I purchased this head off the tour van. I worry that getting the gold shaft will in fact increase your spin, which can reduce distance. If you hit a ball off the toe with either driver, you know it. I understand the XLS is even better.

I was told by the person fitting me hiblre the XL is a hiboree slight draw bias. There were many times when I would tee off with my 3 iron because I knew I could hit it further than any of my woods. I am out hitting my TailorMade by a mile but more importantly I am able to hit longer AND ease off a little on the swing, which means more fairways hit. I can pound this thing.
I say this because a In the image just above, note the longer body on the standard version, meant to increase stability on off-center hits like the FT-i, the SUMO 2or hiboer D1.
As a follow up on my post, recently, I took my That worked a little better, but I found that my dispersion became notably worse.
So, I visited my local Golf Galaxy as usual to refit the head and to talk with friends in the biz and try out some of the gear they have in stock. Light scratches or mild nicks possible. Best driver I ever had once you get used to it. But once you do, the head shape, combined with the sound it makes, and the way the ball just explodes off the club head make this driver just too fun, long and accurate to keep on the sideline.

I am also not sure that butt trimming this club will have the same glorious effects that it had on my other driver. The last time I sent it in to TM for repair it came back with the upgraded Dual head which was cool. Where I work, we have three indoor batting cages that double as a driving range.
