The sales agronomist will be assigned a specific territory and traveling will be necessary to perform standard sales activities including but not limited to visit clients, understand market and market segmentation, to define customer needs and address them as appropriate, to promote and present AgXplore product/program solutions, manage sales cycle, continue prospecting activities and report as appropriate. We are looking for candidates who, in addition to proven sales track record in selling proprietary & added value products, are sharing AgXplore integrity values, that are properly representing AgXplore and are enthusiastic and passionate about the products they are to sell.
Duties of the sales representative typically involve all that is related to selling and promoting the line of products offered by AgXplore. The sales representative has to be familiar in such areas as fertilizers and how they affect crops,nutrition and nutritional program. Experience in the specialized area is expected by the employer. In addition to expand sales to current customers the sales representative is tasked with expanding our customer base and providing product training to retail clients or even farmers.
In this function he/she is responsible for the sales, marketing and technical activities in the area, budgeting process, and implementation of business/tactical plans developed
Sales representative should attend regional meetings and conferences to keep up with changes in the field and expand their product knowledge. Good communication skills are required to sell AgXplore products/programs to individuals or groups of potential customers. Other duties will include creating and writing monthly and quarterly reports. Sales representative is required to attain computer skills related to programs and software utilized by the company. Retail experience preferred.
